Canadian rock singer, Tara Kye recently unveiled her latest work of art, "Shera", a song centered around a superheroine who is queen of the jungle. Following in the footsteps of many of Tara's previous singles, it is empowering and motivational. According to Tara, who has now been professionally recording and releasing music independently for just over a year or two, it was the first song she ever wrote and it was written with the help of close friends.

CHINGY'S COOKING UP SOMETHING SPECIAL

What is hip hop's best discovery in 2017 and what new music is getting fans raving.

 With over 40 million records sold, more than 8 chart-topping singles, multiple sold out tours worldwide and a die-hard fan base consisting of several generations of hip hop listeners, both old school and new school, Chingy is still as hungry and dedicated to his craft as he was when he made his debut back in 2003 with the release of the hit single, Right Thurr on Atlanta, US rapper, Ludacris's newly formed record label at the time, Disturbing Tha Peace Records. "Right Thurr" stood out for its club friendly beat and feel-good lyrics delivered with a slick, nursery rhyme style that still defines the St. Louis, US rapper's sound today. Thanks to the success of the song, Chingy's debut album, "Jackpot" sold 2 million records and the chart-topping rapper has never looked back since.

Chingy also delved into acting when he made is debut on the American TV series, "My Wife And Kids" in 2005, and also invested in a number of business ventures that allowed him to express himself artistically including a custom car line, Fulldekk Motors which specializes in refurbishing classic cars.

It's been a few years since his latest official full length album but since "1st Quarter" was released back in 2011, Chingy has kept fans happy with new singles, mixtapes and videos regularly. "Jackpot Back", a massive 17 track mixtape that brought Chingy fans up to speed with the rapper's exceptional evolution over the years was one of his most celebrated new releases. 

Chingy has now announced a new project, Dead Rose, which is due to be released soon.
