"Sense Of Distance is about passion and pain, and the trials and tribulations " of an ordinary life lived. At first it may seem like this album was born our of a dark and immensely sorrowful place, and you may not be wrong but you'll find pleasure in the pain and maybe even learn a few life lessons along the way.

Don't worry about disturbing the neighbors with this one. Apart from the ocassional harmonica there are usually only two prominent musical elements in every song - the sorrowful yet pleasing and compassionate voice of Robert Leslie, and his favorite guitar.
If there's anything you'll learn from listening to this album or any of Robert Leslie's albums, it's that you can put a good spin on any situation by telling it as it is while strumming and plucking guitar strings. Listen to it first thing in the morning before you go to work everyday and you'll never have a bad day in your life again.
This is the soundtrack of the ordinary life.

It's always a pleasure to see talented musicians stay true to themselves and keep their clothes on as they get further in their careers. Zara is always a pleasure not just to listen to but also to watch.
If you like good, clean Pop music, this one's for you.
We've
been fans of the London singer-songwriter since "Nice Day", one of her
earlier singles from her Glass Silhouete EP released around 2013. At 20
years old she already sounded like she had been around for a while, her
voice was already so strong and her lyrical content was very matured and
meaningful, sometimes almost philosophical even. She looked sweet and
shy on the outside but it was obvious there was something fierce inside.
A pop music monster was waiting to be unleashed and we knew we had to
witness it. We waited and watched and listened as Zara's sound became
even fuller and more colorful with every new song. We followed her
career closely as her music evolved progressively. Everytime we thought
it couldn't get any better, Zara would surpass our greatest expectations
and deliver something more special than we could have wished for.
And then there was Count The Days - the big kahuna.
