Specifically through her work as Co-founder of Little Voices, a non profit that produces concerts and internships for foster youth around the world. Starr passionately pursues her personal mission to expose young people to opportunities through the arts. She is the Producer of “A Crystal Starr Christmas”, a benefit concert dedicated to spreading love and joy through music and giving, ensuring that over 1000 foster children in care have a special Christmas of live entertainment with their families they would not otherwise have the ability to experience. Previous Crystal Starr Christmas participants include, Wayne Brady, Lexi Lawson, Judith Hill and Grammy award winning Harmony Samuels. Starr is executive producer of LA's biggest Live Music Show for foster girls. The message carries a national and global message. Capturing and a unique format of an female empowerment program durning a very special time of the year. She Sessions is about uplifting, uniting and educating young ladies in foster care. We engage and support girls through an intimate live music performances and production value that have personal impact. Starr Produces empowerment concerts with integrity and purity that mobilizes girls to strive for greater personal goals. She Sessions provides girls with an experience that challenges and expands their social consciousness and self-awareness while being a fun day out with friends and peers. We believe that girls can be anything that they want to be. Every year on December 1st we invite compassionate guest ambassadors to perform and share their story. Last years guests featured; Crystal Starr, Andra Day, Common, Judith Hill and Kyra Dacosta. Our goal is to create unity and to deliver the message to each and every child that “You Are Enough”.

Dorothy Milone is a multiethnic female pop group. They’re talented, beautiful and possess a sultry, sexy vocal edge with high energy performance. The group has performed for high school events, fashion shows, several outdoor festivals (including Pride shows) and opened for national artists. In the past year, Dorothy Milone (DM) has added many newcomers to their fan base, attracted high profile photographers and received media attention. Following a personal invitation from Zeola Gaye, Dorothy Milone performed at a tribute concert in honor of the late great Marvin Gaye. DM was just nominated as “female group of the year” from the Titan Arts Awards. The girls also have an international radio show which airs every Sunday 4-5pm on Blis.fm. In just six months, the Dorothy Milone radio show was nominated as “Best radio show in the DMV”. The girls are on a roll and their special interviews with B.o.B, Tinashe and Musiq Soulchild have not gone noticed. The Dorothy Milone app (available on iPhones and Androids) is another way the girls give back. The music and products of lesser know radio guests are added to the app every week. This helps launch new products into the mainstream. Dorothy Milone (DM) gives back to the community and tries to work with organizations with a similar vision. The young ladies coordinated a youth pavilion at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial in association with the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington. They volunteer at “Our Daily Bread” a soup kitchen in Baltimore, MD that feeds at least 700 people a day. Dorothy Milone is currently hosting and performing at shows that benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Hannah Gill, a 21-year-old vocalist & lyricist, grew up on the eastern shore of Maryland, listening to and being influenced by the likes of Nina Simone, The Beatles, and Otis Redding. She recently released her sophomore EP, “Lost In Words”, a five-song sampler showcasing her booming voice and soulful songwriting. She has been covered by The New York Times, Teen Vogue and NPR amongst others, has toured nationally with her band, “The Hours”, and her original music videos have garnered over 650K YouTube views. Hannah also tours as a guest singer with “Post Modern Jukebox”, the rotating jazz music collective, since April of 2017 and has played at legendary venues like the Sydney Opera House in Australia, the Olympia In Paris, and the Monte Carlo Jazz Festival. Her PMJ videos have exceeded 4.5M views, and her cover of “Take Me To Church” had Hozier saying, “Her ability is beyond her years”. When not on tour with PMJ or for her solo material, you can catch her singing up a storm with various jazz outfits in New York City.

7. CHINGY : ON GO.

Back at home in St. Louis, there is a calm in speaking to Chingy. You have to remind yourself that you're talking to the artist who pushed out hits like "Right Thur" and "Pulling Me Back." On the brink of his new album, "Chinglology," I had the chance to catch up with him. So what's changed since we last saw Chingy. There is a sense of self-awareness and accountability. A corner has most definitely been turned and he is looking to correct past behavior. "I want to become more of a leader," he says in looking back at lessons learned over the years. He uses words like "Positive" and "Great" in describing where he wants to go not just with this album but in life moving forward. A spiritual awakening of sorts is present in his energy and reflective in the album, specifically with the track "King Judah" which pays homage to the origins of the African man. Yes, it's deep. However don't sleep on Chingy's ability to put together hits, especially those to keep the ladies entertained. This will all be done tastefuly as he's taken the route of not disrespecting women, or beefing with other artists. Sounds like Chingy could be that breath of fresh air we've all been waiting for. On the current state of hip-hop, he believes there needs to be more positivity. "These kids don't know," says Chingy referring to the drugs and violence, which seem to be a theme in the ever changing rap game. That being said, he does like the work of artists like Drake, Wale, and Wiz Khalifa. Chingy was recently featured on VH1's reality show, "Couples Therapy." The show is built on the idea of couples trying to fix a relationship. He says that he learned a lot during that process, and that it was real and not an act for the cameras. It doesn't stop there... From 2013 to Now he's been working on a new reality show called "Business with The Baileys" a collaboration with his mom & sister, revamped his record label "FullDekk" & released the mixtape "FullDekk Fulloisphy" that features STL Artist, he's been to Australia not once but twice co-headlining with Fabolous & Omarion then again for a solo run and has released two singles on iTunes "Falling & "Damn Girl" while still touring all around the US. Chingy is a busy man and has no problem managing all these ventures. The way he sees it, why not succeed at all levels so long as the people and experience involved are all positive.
