HE'S JUST NOT FEELING IT
Every dog has its day - for Dee Jay it looks like this is not one of those days. The famous South Korean rock star dog was caught looking down during a recent Love X Stereo recording session but anyone who knows anything about the band - South Korea's top independent electronic rock duo, would advocate that it couldn't have been the music. He's a dog so we'll probably never know why but you can follow him on Instagram, new followers are always a sure way to brighten up his day.

DAMN THE MAN!
Dannie Carson is a young, talented US country artist and guitarist that is quickly making a name for herself. She's calm, collected, sings compelling songs and knows how to tell a good story. Her voice is subtle and gentle, and will make you want to hold somebody - and not in any inappropriate ways. Fans and critics alike watch closely as she evolves and blossoms into a fine young woman that could someday be looked upon as a good role model. One of her top records to date is a track called "Dave's Song" which has remained on the lips of fans since the very day of its release a few years back. She currently has only a few official releases in stores so if you are thinking of putting your name down on the music discovery naughty list for a good spanking for letting such an amazing gem slip under your radar, don't. She however performs very regular in and around Oklahoma where she's based and her next gig is at Damn The Man in Fletcher tomorrow, the 18th of April, 2018 at 3 PM. HANNAH GILL AND THE HOURS AT DENVER DAY OF ROCK
Kicking off their 2018 tour on the 26th of May, New York alternative pop duo, Hannah Gill and The Hours will be making their first stop at Denver Day of Rock, a one day music festival benefiting the efforts of Amp the Cause, a non-profit organisation for kids. The free event features five stages of live music at Denver, Colorado, USA’s 16th Street Mall on Memorial Day weekend. BORN READY AT THE 1ST ANNUAL INCOME TAX RETURN PARTY
Hailed as one of the top new authentic rappers the US has seen in a long time, even taking into account mainstream rappers as well, Born Ready is one of the most promising new artists to take the hip hop game by surprise this decade. Making his debut only a few years back with his mixtape, "Death of a Dollar" and tracks like "Focus", "Trap Livin" and "Awready", he cemented his name in the minds of rap music fans looking for that rawness and realness typical of the best artists. He's already worked with numerous top hip hop artists like Pastor Troy - on the song, "Act A Fool", and Yo Gotti - on the single "Life Like", and he has built a solid repertoire of chart-worthy hip hop hits independently. After dropping off the radar for a while in 2016, Born Ready resurfaced with a mind-blowing hip hop record that surpased everything he had done previously. "Bending Corners", released early 2017 was a sensational hip hop classic that showed his evolution as an artist and embodied everything the Pittsburgh rap sensation is all about - being independent, being a boss, being innovative in terms of both beats and mindful lyrical content, being distinctive delivery-wise and always setting himself apart. The track was quickly followed by a meaningful and colorful music video to suit, which featured the award-winning rapper, Yung Joc, famous for his debut record, "It's Going Down". Shortly after the release, it became aparent that the two had something in the works but there were no official statements and Born Ready dropped off the map again. He is making his first appearance in a while at the 1st Annual Income Tax Return Party on the 20th of April at the Elevate Nightclub in Ohio. There'll be a raffle for free tickets on Born Ready's Instagram page in the coming days.

ONE FOR THE ROAD
San Francisco, US dream pop trio, The Bilinda Butchers are all set to go on a short Japan tour in a few weeks. Commencing on the 26th of May, they'll be passing through venues in Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo. They also have a new album due to be released shortly so there's a lot of excitement in the air. The band also just announced a new gig in Washington so their US fans have the opportunity to see them live one more time just before they leave. The show will be held in Seattle on the 10th of May. THE BILINDA BUTCHERS' 2018 JAPAN TOUR
The early beginnings of the sensational San Francisco, US dream pop trio that is The Bilinda Butchers goes as far back as 2008 when their very first professional recordings were created. They took their name from My Bloody Valentine guitarist Bilinda Butcher, one of their earlier influences. With a sound unlike anything that had been created at the time and that is still unmatched till today, they were quick to go from a brand new band to becoming one of the region's top dream pop acts. Their records found a place close to the hearts of many both nearby and far away, and found a very special place in Asia where they have been known to tour and perform regularly. After a successful tour of South Asia just over a couple of years ago, the trio is returning, this time to Japan for another tour due to commence on the 27th of May, 2018 with venues in Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo announced so far. Their upcoming EP, "Night and Blur", which was recently announced is also due to be released shortly.
