Futuristic, with a massive, spacious, dense sound stage and sensational space age beat like nothing that has featured any hip hop track so far - from underground releases to top music chart hits of 2017.
It's cinematic and artistically masterful.
Released just around the start of autumn, 2017, "Doomsday Device" was a mixtape that was more highly revered than it was highly anticipated by fans who have already enjoyed a sizeable doze of Coolidge classics all year.
With hit songs like Passport, released back in May, "Decimals", which came shortly after, followed by the sensational mixtape, "Drevo '17" in July, there was no doubt his latest album was going to hit listeners where it hurt (in a good way) sonically, and it did just that and a lot more.
Limbo stands out as one of the top singles off the mixtape. In line with the overall theme of the album, it's dark, apocalyptic and impactful. It'll put you in the mindstate of the last survivor at the end of the world running from the terminator. Lyrically, it's as exceptional as Coolidge always is, with a tight, sequencial flow that tells a story like only he knows how.
