Country Pop
She's
sweet and young, and she has the voice of a nightingale and the drive
of a rugged, all
terrain vehicle. Afton Prater is without doubt one of Washington, USA's
most versatile and talented new comers and has been flooding the US country music landscape with more substantial, carefully crafted Country Pop
than anyone else has done over the past decade. Every new track sheds
light on the depths of her musical abilities and elevates the spirits of
her fans to greater heights.
Since
her
first song, Stay With Me, she has captivated the eyes and ears of not
just country music lovers and critics but also pop culture fans and
anyone
who likes anything genuine and family-friendly. The latter is what
makes Afton one of the US's most revered and most promising upcoming teenage artists. Not
just are her songs beautiful, she's also an honour student and she
appeals to everyone from kids in school to adults and everyone can learn
a little something from her even if it's just the essence of the
blissful innocence of adolescence. She's someone you can
trust with your kids' ears, eyes, hearts and minds. She's kind, gentle,
strong,
young and free in a way we could only dream our popstars could be -
a true
role model we can all look up to and trust never to let us down.
In
this day and age it's rare to find artists the younger generation can
look up to that won't oneday turn up at the MTV Awards twerking with
their knockers out and a doobie in their mouth, but Afton seems to be
well grounded and America has high hopes for her.
Her latest release, Barbed Wire came out back in August, 2016 and is available to listen to for free and download on Bandcamp.

NEW YORK REPORTER PULLS DRUNK MONKEY
It happens to the best of us.
Friday night in New York City is usually without doubt one of the wildest and craziest nights anywhere in the world. After spending the whole week working hard every single day, staying up late almost every night to work some more, wrestling with massive bills, stuffing fat, amazing bagels in their faces and downing gallons of coffee, just to be able to make ends meet in an ever worsening and ever more uncertain economy, New Yorkers love nothing more than to dress up in their best clothes, let their hair down, hop in a cab to the most happening joint, party like it's 2099, and ultimately, paint the whole town red all weekend.
This weekend a budding New York reporter who recently got a promotion did just that.

This weekend a budding New York reporter who recently got a promotion did just that.
After
getting her own column in The New York Musoholic, a popular newpaper
targeted at party animals and the youth in general, Sarah decide to hit
the town and spoil herself a little more than a little bit.
After one too many drinks she started to feel a little lonely but before long managed to hit it off with what she thought was a strange looking but utterly handsome and irresistible hunk who was awefully hairy. They had a few drinks and the last she remembered was getting in a cab. She also recalled feeling very warm and cosy even though she was hardly wearing anything underneath her long coat.
She woke up in the morning with only vague memories of the night. Excited about her new promotion, she immediately jumped in the shower to get the day started and hopefully do it all over again at night.
Strangely, her robe and slippers weren't where they usually were. She also noticed the thong which she, in a cheeky moment of defiance, decided to go without the night
before and left hanging on the radiator wasn't there anymore.
She thought nothing of it, had a nice warm shower, dressed up, and just as she was about to grab her keys and head for the nearest bagel shop for breakfast she was startled when her eyes suddenly met the irresistible rear view of the vaguely familiar figure of the stranger from the night before, whom she had assumed had already left, dressed in her bath robe and slippers.

NOEL CLAPS BACK
With the entertainment industry getting more and more difficult for artists and competition getting tougher and tougher, Tyler Noel is taking the bull by the horns in 2017.
The Atlanta singer songwriter is revered most for two amazing qualities - she's got the body of a goddess, and she can hit notes sweeter than a choir girl on Easter Sunday - but there's a lot more to Tyler, and fans and critics are continuously delighted to discover more and more with every passing day.
It's often said that great gifts are wrapped even more delightfully,
and the same is true for Tyler - She's beautiful on the outside and even more amazing on the inside.
Tyler stormed the R&B music scene independently back around 2012 when she released Lights On, one of her debut singles and still one of her most reknowned works to date. She went on to release several other singles and quickly stole the hearts of R&B fans, industry professionals and music producers, and she has continued to drop hit after hit every single time.
Tyler's career began way before she started out as a solo act. At the age of 12, she was part of an all girl group called Solo Tre which was signed to an acclaimed producer called Derek Baker, known for producing Jamie Foxx's hit single, "Unpredictable". Through the years and many girl groups later, Tyler felt like she was ready to break out on her own, storming the R&B music scene with a full blown sound that was ready for the big stage. No one could ever imagine her talent evolving but with every new release, it gets better and better, and better and better.
Tyler's latest release Clap Back came out in November, 2016 and DJs, radio stations and press all over Atlanta, surrounding areas and the country as a whole haven't stopped raving about it.
With the buzz at an all time high, Tyler is ready to take her career the next level and is said to be working a new project that is expected to be The Big One. No dates or official confirmations have been released as of yet.

Kileza's website:
http://kileza.com/
Genre:
R&B Music
She's kind, gentle, morally sound and the most charming allround musician Berlin has ever seen.
Born
and raised in South Africa, Kileza is a well travelled singer,
songwriter and producer who has spread her love, music and goodwill
throughout the world since her early days.
Currently
based in Germany, her music reflects the knowledge, wisdom and
understanding about humanity and society she has gained and continues to
gain on her travels. Kileza's sound is primarily R&B music but
features creatively infused elements from other cultures and genres
including but not limited to electronic music and hip hop.
Her
first EP, A Berlin Winter was described by critics as a classic
masterpiece conveying the dark, cold, grey ambience of winter in a way
which had never been done before. It's melancholic, soothing, calming
and uplifting, and many of the songs are still on the lips of many of
Berlin's R&B and soul music fans up till today, more than 3 years
after its release.
Independently,
Kileza has navigated Germany's music industry and secured a place as
one of the top independent acts. She was recently featured in the latest
advertisement campaign for Google's Pixel phone and is said to have
booked a number of high profile gigs at some of Berlin's notable music venues for 2017.
An
avid traveller, there's no telling where she'll be performing next. She
recently announced a gig in New Delhi, India but hasn't made any
further announcements about what the future holds. Whatever the case may
be, 2017 looks like it should be a good year for her and fans are surely
in for a big treat.

A TRIBUTE TO WASHINGTON'S FAVORITE BASS GOD
This week Washington, D.C, US Folk Pop band, Wylder, formerly known as Save The Arcadian took time out to celebrate the invaluable contributions of their super talented bass player, Jackson Wright.
The quartet's debut album under the new alias, Rain And Laura, released in April, 2016 has been received well and continues to enjoy attention from the press, critics and fans. Their unique sound, which incorparates elements of indie, folk and pop wouldn't be complete without the vigorously stimulating, infectious, groovy, heart-warming, soul-drenching sounds emanating from Jackson's skillfully manipulated bass guitar.
The band is booking more and more gigs in around Washington as their popularity grows and news about their hot new release spreads throught the state and nationwide. They've already performed numerous shows and have a good number of dates lined up for 2017. Their latest video, Bitter is also quickly becoming a fan favorite and is climbing independent folk music video charts nationally and internationally.
