JULIETTE ASHBY'S 2017 UK TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED

Juliette Ashby 2017 tour | Explore the world of music with news and updates from top independent (indie), unsigned, upcoming, emerging and underground artists, bands and record labels gaining publicity fast around the world daily.

Best friends with the late Amy Winehouse, Juliette Ashby possesses the same uniqueness and soul that many artists strive for. The esteemed London, UK singer songwriter has been closely watched by music industry insiders since she made her debut with the release of the single, Over & Over back in June of 2014. The single was released to critical acclaim as fans and critics were awakened to a brand new reggae sound. Juliette's distinctive and elegant blend of reggae, pop and R&B brought a whole new dimension to the genre and instantly created a whole new fan base of listeners drawn to her softer, less aggressive, soulful reggae vibe.

She quickly became one of London's favorite reggae acts and news about her spread quickly across the country. Since then Juliette has enjoyed the attention of local and national press, hosted gigs all over the UK, shared the stage with world reknowned acts and featured at popular national and international music festivals. With the release of her debut EP, bearing the same title "Over & Over", she went on to further wow fans with several other groundbreaking reggae records including the single "Like A Bass Guitar", another sensational track that got the favor of many top UK DJs and radio stations.

Juliette wasn't considered a newbie for very long in her career, if at all. Her originality, commanding stage presence and strong demeanor have all been key in her success and continue to play a big part in her career today. Her latest EP "Building Up The Strong", released in October 2016 was her biggest and most celebrated record to date and is still being talked about as she prepares for her recently announced UK univeristy tour which includes venues in Hertfordshire, London, Edinburgh, Worcester, Essex and a few other cities expected to be added soon. The tour begins on the 26th of May, with dates scheduled up till October.

Paying homage and staying true to the Boom Bap era of hip hop, M.O.B Stars are a group of well-spoken, multi-talented, versatile and thorough rappers that pride themselves on originality, honesty and uncompromised creativity. They say what they feel and bring fresh new air to hip hop both collectively and individually through intelligent lyricism and innovative styles.


The New Jersey, US group, based in Paterson is made up of 4 members - Jochl, Taliban Triple, O.B and SaFE. In addition to creating and releasing music as a group, they also release solo projects. They've already made significant impacts on New Jersey's independent hip hop scene and each time they come back with a new release it's even bigger and better. Their first significant impact was back in November, 2010 when they released "II S.O.S", a massive 18 track album that spoke to the souls of hip hop fans locally and nationally. It featured a good number of emerging and established underground hip hop producers in the region and was consistent all the way through boasting old school hip hop sounds infused with fresh new elements. They quickly followed up with "M.O.B Stars Presents Spring Collection, Vol. 1.5" in August, 2011, an even bigger album with a whopping 29 tracks. They went on to release several other groundbreaking records which collectively secured them a place on New Jersey's independent hip hop scene as one of the top acts to watch.


Another milestone for the group was the release of SaFE's debut solo project, "Dead Duck" which was released back in June, 2015 and still has fans raving. The project loosely chronicles SaFE's creative development and covers topics such as body image, the Reptilian conspiracy, abortion, domestic violence, courtship and matriarchal religions, among other things. SaFE articulates over soulful beats of differing moods and intensities. His lyrics are mindful and his rhyming style is calculated and poetic. Dead Duck is the overall depiction of the urbanite's experience through rhyme. It features production by Arkutec, CJ Beatz, Bravestarr and Superstar O, among others and is available to download on iTunes, Amazon mp3, Google Play Music and other major digital music stores.

Unmatched by any of British Columbia, Canada's independent classic rock acts, Tara Kye's sound is a sweet, organic blend of classic rock, metal and pop with a subtle operatic feel that'll take you places. 

TRUE stories, soothing piano melodies, gripping guitar rhythms, smooth grooves, wise words, comforting lyrics and a vast range of subject matters revolving around life's journeys and the importance of appreciating them are some of the pleasures of listening to Tara. From dark, ominous themes to love songs, she writes like she sings - graceful as a swan, and without a care in the world. Her latest EP, "Tortured Love", which features the self-titled single, "Tortured Love" and a host of fan favorites including "Beautiful Gangstas" and "Molten Metal" was released in February and received rave reviews from fans, who have been hooked since her very first releases. 

Starting off playing the saxophone as a child, Tara always wanted to play the piano and sing. She suffered from cancer as an adult but fought hard and recovered after 20 years. During her recovery, her parents bought her an electric piano which she learned to play over time, thanks to her teacher, John Dean, a Canadian singer and songwriter who she has collaborated with on many of her songs. Her passion for singing and songwriting was born and she hasn't looked back ever since.

Tara's new single, "Chasing Rainbows" was released on the 17th of March and is available to stream and download on iTunes, Deezer, Google Play, Amazon and other major digital music outlets.
