long awaited single by Inspirational Hip Hop and Gospel Rapper,
MeandJonathan is finally out in stores now and available through iTunes
and other major music retailers and streaming services worldwide. The
single, officially released on the 9th of May, 2016 by J5 Entertainment
led the way for a string of new releases by the upcoming rapper with
more singles scheduled to be released soon. Look out for "Reap What You
Sow" and "Rico", also in stores now and available through iTunes and
other major music retailers and streaming services.
MeandJonathan was born as Jonathan Sessom June, 26 1990 in Houston, Texas. Jonathan
started writing and performing his music when he was around 12 while
hanging out with his friends in his neighborhood and at school. What
started out as fun times with his boys has slowly changed into a way for
him to express himself and to say whats really in his heart. His music
is ever evolving and he is not your everyday artist/songwriter. It
started out as more Gangster Rap but has now taken on a genre of it's
own. His music now has a spiritual overtone but still would be
considered HipHop/Rap. Jonathan has always been in a fight with himself
hence the name MeandJonathan, trying to figure out his path in life,
whether to follow in God's footsteps or to travel alone on his journey.
He has always had a good heart but his most difficult struggle was
staying on the right path. You hear evidence of this sturggle in his
music expecially some of his earlier writings.
Jonathan is still on a journey but now has chosen to stay focused and
follow God, he has a clearer path and a new purpose. He now uses his
past experiences to help him avoid any future collisions and his
struggles are not as difficult. His mission now is to share his
testimonies and God's truths with the world to people who may not know
him or have a relationship with him. His music is about life and about
situations that this generation is facing today. Jonathan writes and
performs his music in a way that inspires and brings hope to the
hopeless and lost.

Under
Influenced started in spring of 2009 as a trio (Sam, Kevin, and
John), practicing and playing mostly 90's cover songs in garages and
basements alike. Eventually, the band's cover songs were replaced by
original music, and a fourth member was added to the lineup. The
Punk/Alternative quartet recorded a short demo of their songs later that
year, and soon began to play out at regular venues.
The band continued playing live shows in 2010 and also recorded two
EPs at Cherry Pit Studios - both were released that year. Between the
two releases the band lost their original drummer but found a
replacement to keep them going strong.
Under Influenced experienced significant growth over the following two years as they racked up a large number of live shows, including some from a short Midwest tour. The band made three return trips to the studio during the time, recording two EPs and a single. In addition, they signed a publishing deal with Cherry Pit, which opened up doors for their music to be placed into TV and film. The band also received a sponsorship from Supercuts in 2012 through the "Rock The Cut" campaign.
2013 proved to be both positive and negative for the band. Although they proudly completed the recording of their debut album, Under Influenced's drummer decided to part ways with the band. For several months the group remained dormant and the album unreleased.
It was not until spring of 2014 that Under Influenced was able to reform by adding two new members - Joe and Jesse. The newly reformed quintet spent most of the year practicing and preparing for the live shows they played in the fall, but they also spent some time writing new music as well.
Currently, Under Influenced is focusing on moving forward. They continue to write new music, sharpen their skills with their older tunes and prepare for upcoming shows and recording opportunities.

While they were on the road, they didn’t get a lot of chances to hear new music, at least early on. With personnel changes, they were always scrambling for material to fill up the space. Since they had all been in bands previously, they chose from songs they already knew and could cobble together quickly to fill the 4 to 5 hours of performance time.
One evening, one of their friends from Worthington, a little blonde girl named Nancy, came up during a break at the Valhalla Ballroom in Slayton, MN and suggested they learn this song by The Eagles. She said she thought it sounded very much like Mick's singing voice. Once they heard it (Kim, their drummer LOVED The Eagles anyway) they quickly learned it and added it to their set.
Mick apologized for the quality of this somewhat muffled clip, but promised to keep fans updated once the full mix is complete.
Throughout the 70s, the band Silver Laughter made a name for themselves by writing catchy, hook laden rock songs with more than a hint of Beatles influence and by touring extensively throughout the United States and Canada. In their prime, tracks from the band’s two critically acclaimed albums and numerous singles could be heard on radio stations across the nation. Sadly, as the 70s drew to a close, the laughter stopped as the group disbanded.
In the years that followed, the band has been remembered and celebrated for their wonderful music. 2014 saw a Silver Laughter reunion when the band was inducted into the Iowa Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Their albums and singles have become sought after collectibles, and the band’s amazing catalog of music was reissued on a German label in 2015 by New Music/Green Tree on both CD and vinyl.
Getting up on stage again for the Silver Laughter reunion re-ignited the fires of inspiration in bassist / vocalist / songwriter Mick Orton. Together with musicians Tom Kelley and Ricky Zero, Mick has begun a new chapter in his musical journey with his new band The Silvers! Not long after releasing their first CD single, “Running Away”/”Nothing Really Matters”, which also became their first animated video, drummer Glenn Stone joined the band.
Within just a few short months, the guys have already assembled an impressive collection of songs that would fill close to two albums and are coming up with new material constantly! Their first album, “After The Laughter”, will be released in March of 2016. Most recently, their second animated video of the song, “No More (This Time I Mean It)” was released on YouTube March 1, 2016.
Right now the boys are working on material for their first EP of 5 songs scheduled to be released on August 1, 2016. Be sure and watch for this up and coming group of musicians!

The Vintage Rock Band brings together seasoned players from all over the Denver music scene in Colorado, mixing styles and celebrating the universal truth that a band's primary objective is to get a groove going.

The rise of Def Machine started in Detroit, Michigan, when the DEFCON-1 crew came together to form a tightly integrated production team.
Since then the new "bomb squad" has dropped music and film
productions that can only be described as a Thermo-Nuclear sound, a thousand times harder than
any other crew in the Hip Hop game. A band
was needed to back the artists being produced on Sims Entertainment/SEC
Records so they added additional musicians including Guitarist, Joe
Mazzola who was originally from the band "Sponge" and a long time friend of bass
player Avery Sims; Drummer, Mario Perry who is a good
friend of Keyboardist Craig Lane and has also done some session work for
Sims Entertainment/SEC Records. Together the new band along
with frontman Hip Hop artist, Diggidy are now the current line up for THE DEF MACHINE.
